When David and Tiffany bought this cabin David wanted to add two things: 1) a chainsaw carved bear; and 2) a chair lift swing. The chair lift swing is on the lower back deck. One year at Brian Head's 4th of July art fair an artist was selling chainsaw art. The art included the carving of a big bear with two little bears climbing on and under her. David knew he had to have it! David's oldest daughter (Raelynn) found the smaller bear for sale in the Brian Head General store. It seemed to fit perfectly. When the artist who carved the large bear saw that David had also bought the smaller one, the artist told David that he was the one who carved the smaller bear as well. The artist planned for the smaller bear to be part of a set with the larger bear, but later decided to sell the smaller bear to the Brian Head General Store. The family is now reunited and sits on our front porch. We love having them, there, but now and then folks will walk out our front door and get startled by the carving. Hope it doesn't happen to you.
