Many years ago, when our children were very young, we would visit a cabin on Mammoth Creek (about a half an hour drive from Brian Head). The cabin belonged to a friend of ours and had a table that was made from an old wagon wheel. Tiffany loved that table and searched dozens (if not hundreds) of antique and other furniture stores, as well as searched online, for a wagon wheel table. When she could not find anything, she decided to make one for herself. That sent her on a quest for the perfect wagon wheel (which was no small task in itself). When she finally found what she was looking for, she went to work shaping one side of the wheel and cutting and fitting wood panels to fill the gaps between the spokes of the wheel to make the tabletop. She then used resin to cover the tabletop and had a friend of ours weld a base to complete the table. That wagon wheel table sits in our upstairs loft. After she finished making that first table, Tiffany decided she wanted a second wagon wheel table for the main room in the cabin. She again embarked on a search for the perfect wagon wheel and found what she was looking for at a home in Henderson NV. The homeowner also had old barn wood from the Woodberry farm. Tiffany was able to purchase some of that wood to fill in the spaces between the spokes on this second table. After covering it with resin (which was also no easy task) and affixing a base, the second table now adorns our main room. Both tables stand as testimonies to Tiffany's creativity and resilience in being willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals.
