Our family is founded on a strong faith and belief in the Savior Jesus Christ. We are very grateful for the blessings that come from His Atonement and His sacrifice for the sins and hardships of the world. We have placed several pictures of the Savior in our cabin as reminders that He is the source of peace and happiness in this world and in the next. The picture on the main floor holds special significance in our family. When David was called to serve as a Bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he looked for artwork to decorate his Bishop's office. David had initially planned to buy two specific pictures, but when he saw this painting of Jesus Christ reaching below the water to lift a drowning soul, his immediate thought was, "That picture needs to be on the wall in every Bishop's office in the Church!" We love this reminder of how we can all be lifted and sustained by the atoning power of our Savior. If you would like to learn more you can visit the Church's website at www.churchofjesuschrist.org or, better yet, reach out to us directly. We would be happy to talk to you.
